Crain's: Two new breweries joining Goose Island on Near West Side

Beer's back via Crain's Biz,
Goose Island Beer is getting two new brewery neighbors near its Fulton Street facility on the Near West Side, including one whose co-founder won a 2014 James Beard award.
Like Minds Brewing is moving its operations from Wisconsin to a 10,500-square-foot warehouse it has leased at 1800 W. Walnut St., less than a half-block south of Goose Island's brewery, barrel-aging warehouse and tasting room at 1800 W. Fulton St. Just to the east of those buildings, a local venture plans to launch Great Central Brewing in a structure it will build at 1745 W. Walnut.
The planned breweries are several blocks west of the Randolph Street restaurant row in the West Loop's Fulton Market district and a few blocks north of the United Center. More breweries are likely to join them, according to people familiar with the area.
