Baitul Ilm community's Condemnation against killings in Pakistan

Streamwood's Baitul Ilm's Press Release on the latest car bombing targeting Pakistan's Shia community.

Considering the seize of metro Chicago's Pakistani Community, and the amount of US aid to Pakistan; I'm always surprized how little coverage is given to the persecution people are enduring in Pakistan.

Condemnation against killings in Pakistan
The Baitul Ilm community once again mourns and strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted innocent Shia Muslims on March 03, 2013 in Karachi after the recent attacks on February 16, 2013 and January 10, 2013 in Quetta, Pakistan.

Like so many acts of violence and terrorism before it, this most recent attack has pained the hearts of Muslims and concerned people throughout the world. Unfortunately, the groups that advocate and commit such atrocities are able to act with impunity and without fear in Pakistan. We appeal to the government of Pakistan to decisively act against extremist outfits like Lashkar-e Jhangvi and bring to justice those who commit heinous crimes against fellow citizens and innocent human beings.

We ask members of the community to remember the martyrs and victims of this attack in their thoughts and prayers. Although our hearts are heavy because of the tragedy, we place our trust and confidence in God and ask His assistance in coming to the aid of our fellow believers who are suffering persecution.
