The National Rife Association's political wing has made a surprising endorsement in a contested Congressional race.
Debbie Halvorson, the freshman Democrat seeking re-election in Illinois's 11th District, got the nod from the NRA's Political Victory Fund today. She was endorsed over her Republican opponent, Adam Kinzinger, a U.S. Air Force captain.
