Karam Foundation hosts Syrian writer Samar Yazbek

Karam Foundation is proud to host Syrian writer Samar Yazbek. Samar is a prominent novelist and journalist. Her new book, Woman in the Crossfire: Diaries of the Syrian Revolution, has just been translated into English. Her writing has been featured in the New York Times and The Guardian and she is a regular contributor to al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper. Samar tells a story of resilience and determination and her voice is an important one that spreads the message of unity between the Syrian people.

We hope youcan join us for this special reading and book signing graciously hosted by Mai Husseini on Saturday, September 22 at 2 pm. Samar’s book will be available for sale at the event.
