Saturday: America’s Future Fountation at the Bughouse Square Debates

This should be great fun!

For the second year in a row, a member of AFF-Chicago's leadership committee will be participating in the main debate at the annual Bughouse Square Debates this coming Saturday.

Last year, I was honored to participate in this grand Chicago free speech tradition, debating the question "Is Collective Bargaining Compatible with the Public Sector?" with Kenzo Shibata of the Chicago Teacher's Union.

This year, AFF-Chicago's vice-chair Eric Kohn will debate Jon Anderson from Occupy Chicago on the question, "Who’s to Blame for the Great Recession: Big Government or Big Business?"

The Bughouse Square Debates are this coming Saturday, July 28th beginning at 1pm, with the main debate scheduled to begin at about 4pm.  They will be held at Washington Square Park (a.k.a., Bughouse Square), 901 North Clark Street, just across the street from the Newberry Library.

More information on the Bughouse Square Debates is available here on their website: http://www.newberry.org/07282012-2012-bughouse-square-debates

I hope you can join us this Saturday!
