Illinois Review: Lauzen, McConnaughay clash over perceived pay-to-play
Unless Lauzen's buying into the Progressive's case on the SCOTUS's Citizen's United ruling, he best let this charge against McConnaughay fade away.
No one's stepped forward saying McConnaughy shook them down. No one has stepped forward saying they were denied county work because they failed to play. The ethics rules in place and no evidence McConnaughy didn't follow them.
This is all smoke Senator.
