Illinois unemployment rate jumps to 9.5 percent in July - Chicago Sun-Times:

What Gov Quinn wrought,
The unemployment rate in Illinois jumped to 9.5 percent in July from a revised 9.1 percent in June, rising for the third straight month, and the state lost 24,900 jobs month-over-month, the Illinois Department of Employment Security said Thursday.
