The New Life Temple Church of God in Christ fire
When I heard there was a fire in Lawndale my first thought was one of the old Synagogues. Turns out it was the former Beth Jacob Anshe Kroz. Ley Bey tells its story and links some wonderful pictures from Frederick Nachman.
NP, thanks for your pictures. I can spend hours switching back and forth between them, and the Trib online searching the addresses and getting little glimpses of their histories.
