Session 358 - Blagojevich home: A Progressive Dem's burden: Wives, Richie Daley, and Tony Rezko

Amazing tape Fran Eaton called out because of the Guv's bizarre speculation on Michelle hen pecking Obama over the Valerie Jarrett Senate appointment. Quite a chat from Illinois' foremost advocate for Women's issues.

I thought the sentence at line 8, page 4, on how appointing Rahm would be good for Obama's politics with Mayor Daley a stunner. Obama's just been elected President of the United States. Shouldn't the bunch be worried about their politics with the new President of the United States instead?

And then there's the burden of Rezko all over the last half of the transcript. As Anita Dunn says here, WTF...

This is Illinois Progressives at their best.

Listen while you read to get the full effect of it.

In Natasha Korecki's article today she is finally acknowlegeing that the prosecution jumped the gun...

Question; the defense filed a request with the judge for the 2hour meeting with Obama/Fitzgerald but they did BEFORE the Balanoff testimony...Why not after, when they knew he had direct contact with Obama and he was going to testify to that fact?? Why didn't they wait? Why don't they file another request? This case stinks of corruption from both ends...Who are they kidding?
