Prosecutors elicit a conversation that alleges U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was present at a meeting where campaign contributions were discussed in exchange for a Senate seat appointment. Rajinder Bedi, onetime state worker, described the Oct. 28, 2008 meeting with Jackson and fund-raiser Raghu Nayak.

Feds skip charging Jesse Jackson Jr.
Hard to figure why Fitz charged Blago and not Jackson. Very strange and thin case Fitz putting together on a guy who should be a slam dunk conviction. IT would have helped to charge all the players maybe? Via The Blago Blog

It seems to me the U.S. Attorney's office has been compromised...Who do they answer to? Who watches the guys who are watching everbody else? They have too much power and you throw in a couple of higher ups who have been corrupted (Holder & Fitzgerald) and you have one scary organization.
WHY aren't the press all over JJJ after this testimony? Like they did to Milorad after his arrest...Where are the sworms of reporters? If he were a republican, they would be all over him...
gotta wonder
