My neighbor the GOP activists stops over last week with literature on various candidates in Feb's primary but nothing on Hastert v Hultgren. I asked why and he winced saying Hastert's going to win. I said yeah but he's going to lose to Foster. Too much pain among GOP stalwarts after the Dad's resignation then backing Oberweis, and too much distaste among suburban women (and others) to the Hastert+Oberweis names. My activist-neighbor replied, "Foster's hasn't made mistakes and he's got lots of money. It's gonna be tough".
Tough in a year the GOP should win handily. How in the world does the GOP in the Illinois 14th manage this kind of mess?
