There is a bigger picture of corruption and links to the Daleys. Check out the 1994 Bill Kurtis series: Hud: America's Slumlord? It focuses on, unfortunately, Democratic Party operatives in Chicago profiting when HUD housing gets trashed and made unlivable. It's not the Rezko connection that's the worst of it. It's the Dem Machine connection that profited off ghetto poor while doing marginal 'good works' to build name and cred. That's the real tragedy.
