St Charles North's Marching Band
Some pictures of St Charles North's Marching Band at last night's game against Elgin's Larkin HS. It's a huge band with 268 members. The drum line has to bow their heads when they finish a cadence; very serious bunch of kids. The drum major leaving his post at the end of a piece. This fellow really inspires the band. He's really impressive to watch when he leads the band.

Nice, but why do the drum corps bow their heads?
No idea. It's not praying. But they all do it or are at least supposed too. The one in the middle is number one son.
